All AC Delco Low Maintenance Accessible Batteries feature lead calcium expanded grids (Lead Calcium Technology) for resistance to corrosion, overcharging, gassing, water usage, self discharge and thermal runaway, all of which limit battery life in conventional lead antimony batteries.
